Carla Williams, EDDA
Carla is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and is certified in dental radiography and coronal polishing. She has been in the dental field since 1989. She graduated from University of North Carolina and University of Louisville in 1990 and has been with The Smile Center since 1995. Carla lives in Campbellsville with her husband, Milt and their children Raquel, Stone, and Drs. Alexia and Bryan Leary who live in Clayton, NC with their daughters Emory and Elody "Elle".
Jennifer Short, EDDA
Jennifer is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant and is certified in dental radiography and coronal polishing. She graduated from University of Louisville in 2005 and has been with The Smile Center since 2010. Jennifer lives in Marion County with her two adorable children.
Serena Ward, DA
Serena graduated from Taylor County High School. While in high school she realized her love and desire for caring for others. At that time she obtained her CNA license, lifeguard certification, CPR/AED and first aid certifications. She attended Campbellsville University on a scholarship with an undecided major. After a semester she withdrew so that she could get back to taking care of others. She worked in Assisted Living for two years. After stumbling into the Smile Center in 2022, she says she has finally found a field that she can combine her multiple passions into one area. Having a natural eye for art and symmetry from a young age and her passion for quality patient care, Serena has found her niche in dentistry and we are excited to have her on our team!
Elizabeth Butts, DA
Meet Elizabeth or Liz as we like to call her. Liz has been in the field since early 2023 and came to the Smile Center in July 2023. Since then, she has enjoyed serving our patients and learning new aspects of dentistry along the way. Her calming personality helps patients feel at ease when they come into our office. She works hard to ensure they feel comfortable and leave here feeling better about their dental experience and their smile. When she isn’t working, Liz enjoys spending time with her fiancé and 3 beautiful children.
